Located at the beautiful coastal town of Parikia, Hellas offers a delightful, friendly atmosphere and a hefty menu. Twisted Greek classics, from the original gyros and refined traditional salads to bespoke family-inspired dishes, we serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

We tend to provide for a variety of dishes, but we take utmost care of using locally sourced produce; virgin olive oil, authentic feta cheese from the Peloponnese, local wines made in Paros, homegrown oregano and many more.

Whether you’re stopping by for a treat and a pint, meeting friends and co-travellers for a long lazy lunch or craving to try familiar delicacies with a new take, Hellas is the place for your all-day eat & drink experience. Enjoy your stay!

A Family Story

Full of recipes and love for good food

Hellas restaurant reflects the bond of two people who shared a dream and love for homemade food and the unique result of using a place’s local produce. Giorgos from Greece and Angelique from the Netherlands, since opening Hellas in 2004, have come up with a menu that fuses traditional dishes with a modern touch.

Among its highlights, the “Greek Tapas” proudly make the couple’s version of “meze”, ie. bits and bites that Greeks always love to have on the table while eating, drinking and talking for hours. Homemade, special and delicious, as the rest of the dishes, they enjoy the freshness and taste given by local ingredients.

George and Angelique have made sure Hellas feels like home and has a welcoming vibe for all. Have your coffee in a morning breeze before you get on with discovering our island; enjoy a drink in a summer evening; revel in Greek tapas and brisky local wine...

Far from being a common restaurant, Hellas promises a gracious experience with simple but delicious dishes and combinations, appreciated by locals and foreign visitors alike. We are more than happy to see first-time guests enjoy our food every day during their stay on the island, as well as guests who visit us the following year and the next. Seeing familiar faces is the best reward we can receive, while it encourages us to keep up our work, continuously improve our service and always -but always- serve great food.

We went to Hellas when we arrived in Paros. It's close to the port and a nice place to sit outside and eat. I ordered a few appetizers and my husband ordered a gyro. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast which was just as good as dinner.

We went there with a group of friends. The staff was great and the food even better. I had the seafood salad. It was delicious. The others liked their food as well. It's reasonably priced. Can highly recommend it. In a handy location, indoor and outdoor.

We visited the restaurant with a group of friends and really enjoyed our lunch there! The food was really delicious and there is a lot of different kinds of food in the menu to choose from! The service was really good and we would defiantly come back!

The restaurant was conveniently located across from the Paros port, so my friend and I decided to stop in for lunch. Everything in the restaurant is fresh and homemade. We opted for the recommended Greek lemonade and tapas – spicy feta cheese and a potato with tzatziki. Our main dishes were plates of pork with lettuce, tomatoes, pita, tzatziki, cabbage and fries. As if this wasn’t already more than enough to feed two people, the staff graciously offered us a Greek yogurt with cherries on the house. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant until the moment we left, we felt very welcomed by the staff – they were so kind, offered various recommendations, and made sure all was well at all times. And for those wondering, they do accept credit cards.
Thanks again to Pitta Hellas for setting the bar high as our first stop in Paros. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back in the future!

What a fabulous little restaurant. Quaint, friendly, courteous with delicious food!!! Cheap and cheerful. 1/2 Litre of wine for 5 Euros that was wonderful......who knew that good wine in Greece could be affordable? Tapas or full meals....your choice and it was all delicious. The owner had time to chat with us and make us feel welcome. You won’t go wrong with this place and....we shall return!!!!

My partner and I ate here for dinner and had two tapas / small plates ( which were not small ) and also a big mixed grill with salad and bread etc. A drink each and all that for 36 euro! Our waiter was a genuinely great person and made the whole experience so good. Hopefully will return soon! Keep up the good work!
